A great book for those who have life issues that manifest themselves as "stage fright". The approach is to attack the issues rather than just the symptoms. Written by a possibly now-deceased therapist. Out of print, but available used for about four dollars from Amazon.

It comes as no surprise that childhood experiences are responsible for present fears. But how they implant themselves and how the demons can be exorcised from the psyche is fascinating. Using Jungian analytical techniques in the privacy of your home to solve the problem can provide some relief.

Like all other reviewers, I've suffered from severe stage fright/performance anxiety my whole life. Once in college I had to speak in front of my class for a mere 5 mins and experienced one of the worst full blown anxiety attacks in my life that left me humiliated, depressed and just wondering what was wrong with me. I knew I needed help and this was the only book i used. After doing all the sessions I regained my confidence and successfully presented to a group of executives at an annual convention!! I recieved so many wonderful praises for my presentation and never thought I could get this far! Joyce Ashley, if you come across this review I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for answering my prayers. I am finally the happy confident women I've always dreamt of being. Thank you for blessing us with your invaluable insight.

While reading her book, you feel you are having a session with Ms. Ashley. She is so immediate in her approach to this subject, you can almost hear her voice urging you to find that which has eluded you for most of your life. She approaches Jung's work the way Jung must has been with his own patients, not by using jargony phrases, but by helping the reader understand what a relationship to the unconscious really means.
