Served the purpose for my Intro to Statisitics class. I'm not a STEM major but decided to take stat as my gen-ed math class and I feel comfortable with the material I learned after from this textbook. Includes a range of example problems to help with practice exercises. Even if it's from the early 2000s, statistics doesn't really change over time. Luckily the professor didn't require us to use the disk included since it seemed to have compatibility issues on newer computers.

I have had better math books the problems are really hard and the examples in the book don't exactly help much on working the problems. If your class will ACTUALLY USE the book and work a few problems FROM THE BOOK GREAT other wise your going to have a HARD TIME with this book and class!!!!

This book was okay. I have read better. It covers the subject scantily, yet asks very complex questions later. I was sometimes puzzled over what the authors meant in some of the questions in the text.
Qwert
Numerical typos on the example parts of various sections, making things very confusing at times.
Beardana
Ripped and pages were missing. Papers left in book and the bind is falling apart.
