The shipping for the book took longer than when it said it would arrive.
The book is very overpriced and not worth it especially if you already understand the bible, but it is required for Christian Scriptures.
The contents of this book helped me understand the bible better because it gave the historical and literary world. It also talked about the contemporary world. Sometimes the book doesn't go into great detail over the contemporary world as much as they would go over historical or literary.

I hate it when publishers put out new editions of books and all they do is re-arrange the chapters and change a few words. I recently sold the newer version, before I was told that I needed it for another class. This one worked out just fine, after I called some classmates and had them verify the correct study questions to answer.
If you're looking for a way to save a buck, buy this version and then just compare with a buddy for the right page numbers and questions.

I'd have preferred more bullet points instead of analytical dissection of seemingly minute details.
