To the point, well-described, and worth the read. Perhaps the most valuable feature of this book is the Name Sign List that shows the "acceptable" name signs sorted by letters of the alphabet. The reader can see which locations on the body are unlikely to represent other words beginning with the same letter. This avoids confusion when a letter of the alphabet is used to represent a person's name.
Describing an object in ASL uses a lot of classifiers. When describing an object, remember these pointers: State a noun first before using its classifier. Use a strategy to make a description in a nice flow and unity. Practice your receptive skill in fingerspelling for these parts of the apple. Remember to perceive a whole configuration of the fingerspelled words rather than letter by letter.
