I really like this book a lot -- but didn't expect such a departure from Javier's normal (and fantastic) Fashion work. Admittedly, I thought this would be at least tinged with some Fashion inspiration, which is my own fault as a buyer, but really enjoy his perspective photographically nonetheless. As a thematic fine art collection, it's worth it - but if you're after a collection of his great fashion work, look elsewhere.

Each photo represented in this book measures about 17" x 7.75". The book itself measures about 12" x 9". What's the problem here? None of the photos fit fully on one page! Every single photograph spans across 2 pages, which means that every single photograph has a crease down the middle of it. I usually don't mind this if it only happens in a few photos in a book, but every single photo?

Well, having gotten that off my chest, the photography is really beautiful. Vallhonrat is one of my favorite photographers, and these photos don't disappoint. If you can get past the crease down the middle of every photo, then I'm sure you'll love the book.

This book really should have been bigger, measuring something like 19" x 10". Although that is an odd shape for a book, at least the photos would have gotten the respect that they deserve. If the book had been that size, this review would be getting 5 stars instead of 3.
