A terrific book with wonderful early photographs. The book is a real treat for anyone interested in the changing face of London through the Victorian era. There are so many fascinating images - The British Museum Reading Room (1855), St. Pancras Station (1866 to 1868), The Royal Albert Hall (1868)-all under construction at the time the pictures were being taken. 3 people found this helpful.
