The book is very suitable for self-study and features many examples as well as many end-of-chapter problems (with answers for all even-numbered problems). However, there are a number of typos throughout the book - the body of the text, examples, answers which may cause loss of time - especially if the book is used for self study without the benefit of an instructor. This was used alongside the University of Toronto course ECE472 Engineering Economics. This book is very useful but it lacks the four step elegant method for solving Tax Analysis problems and does it the tabulated way.
