Whether you live in Florida or are just visiting, Orlando is a great destination for families on both short and extended stays. I flipped through the book a few times, front to back, and each time I have found incorrect information. This is what I have found so far...

1. The book, copyright 2010, says that the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove currently has an indoor carousel. The last time that mall had a permanent indoor carousel was when I was a small child, and I am now 39.
2. In regards to Fun for All in Port Jefferson, it is listed in two different areas of the book. On page 144 it says that it has a rock wall climb, bastball court, ball pits, a huge sand room, and game room. As I go there with my children, I can guarantee none of these are at Fun For All. And the price listed is incorrect. Turn to page 300, and there's Fun for All listed again, same address, and has the CORRECT information.
3. Subjects listed in the index have the incorrect page numbers associated with them.

I feel bad for those parents trusting the information in this book, picking a destination, packing up the kids, arriving at the location, only to realize they were misinformed.

I borrowed this book from my local library but had to purchase it for the valuable info it has at a glance. Ordinarily I spend some time browsing the usual internet sites to find out whats going on for families - now I can plan in advance with ease. Great resource if you live on Long Island or to plan a trip to visit.
