Description The law will always catch up with yo. obo Johnson was a gunman with a price on his head. He was a killer, but he drew the line at murder. His victims were violent men, murderers and renegades. He had been set upon his present path by the tragic circumstances that engulfed his youth, and he carved a lonely trail through the West. But with a history like his, the law wanted Lobo as much as they wanted the men he slew.

This was a fast-paced story of outlaws, land grabbing, and no-good lawmen in Kansas of the 1880s. The characters were well described except for one noticeable problem. When Lobo first saw Beth, she had curly black hair. His second look a few minutes later showed her to have long brown hair. The good townspeople were weak, the bad men out on the biggest ranch were the worst of the worst. Lobo himself didn't know if he was a bad guy or good. Lots of action here to keep you on the edge of your chair.

A well structured story. Wanted to read it in one setting. A very good read. Can't want for another story.

CM has penned a western about a a young man whose family ranch was burned to the ground. The kid became known as Lobo, a fast gun, but not for hire. Link stumbled into a ranch area of sudden gunplay and, in self defense. He save a woman but after the fight cannot stay. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
