Frank Bonham was an American writer born in Los Angeles on February 25, 1914. Novels by Frank Bonham: Lost Stage Valley (1950). Bonham was the producer of many classic westerns such as "Snaketrack", "Night Raid" and "Durango Kid", writing several hundred westerns and mysteries as well as TV scripts, magazine articles and general children's and young adults' books. Bonham was known often for his young adult fiction of the 1960's including "The Nitty Gritty" and "Durango Street". Frank Bonham died in 1988, but several of his works have been published posthumously.
