This would make a semi-decent Hallmark After School special. What treacle. Virtually every character is nearly a saint, too good to be true. And if they aren't, well they come around in the long run and see the light. This book is about a half step up from something for pre-teens to read. I was expecting an adult book and was quite disappointed.

This is a good family story which is relaxing and does not require too much thought. Good relaxing read.
