They are so very much alike but this is not always a bad thing. Her career spanned thirty years, and she continued to write into her ninetieth year. To her millions of fans, Betty epitomized the romance writer. Betty’s first book, Sister Peters in Amsterdam, was published in 1969, and she eventually completed 134 books.

Betty’s first book, Sister Peters in Amsterdam, was published in 1969, and she eventually completed 134 books. She said, ‘Good morning, Felicity,’ in a voice nicely calculated to rouse the supine figure on the bed. Her novels offer a reassuring warmth that was very much a part of her own personality, and her spirit and genuine talent live on in all her stories. ‘Biddy isn’t well. She’s in bed, and I don’t think she’ll feel well enough to get up for the rest of the day.

Kind of boring, actually. Both main characters lack much depth, and the situations appear to be rather contrived. Still, a story by Betty is an easy read - very relaxing in a stressed-out world.

I don't know why, I have such a soft spot for an old fashion romance, but Betty Neels truly hits the spot, if you are looking for a time gone by romance that allows you to remember the good old days.
Cemav
I have been buying Betty Neels books for my mother (in her 70's) at her request, as an introduction to using a Kindle. I can say without hesitation that she loves all of these books. As she has said, "The plots may all be somewhat similar and the stories quaint, but I enjoy them immensely and find them endearing." What better recommendation could there be? She now has almost every Betty Neels book available for the Kindle. (And the Kindle Paperwhite? She loves the backlight and the ability to make the font larger.)
inform
I always enjoy her books even though they become somewhat repetitious in character and plot, she has the ability of putting you in the scene with her descriptions of the setting, the route of travel and delicious food consumed by the characters. Easy read and nice bedtime stories to help you sleep peacefully and you don't have to vividly follow the characters into the bedroom.

I have read all of her books for years. Happy they are on kindle. I love the simplicity of the stories and the clean way she tells the story, and of course the happy endings.
Androwyn
Follows the Neels formula. Clean fun.
Уou ll never walk alone
This book had the typical rich Dutch doctor and plain heroine. I particularly enjoyed it because we knew early on how the hero felt about the heroine. He was always kind and considerate.. The heroine was a strong character, which helped make the book very enjoyable. This is a keeper.
