Despite ethnic identification all identify as Mexican as well, seeing the two as complementary rather than conflicting. Literature written by Mexican and other Latin American Jewish writers tend to explore the question of what it means to be a Jew in the region. These authors include Sonia Chocron, Alicia Freilich de Segal, Jacqueline Goldberg, Martha Kornblith, Elisa Lerner and Blanca Strepponi  . Inquisición y sociedad en México, 1571-1700.

The garden strawberry (or simply strawberry; Fragaria ananassa) is a widely grown hybrid species of the genus Fragaria, collectively known as the strawberries, which are cultivated worldwide for their fruit. The fruit is widely appreciated for its characteristic aroma, bright red color, juicy texture, and sweetness. It is consumed in large quantities, either fresh or in such prepared foods as jam, juice, pies, ice cream, milkshakes, and chocolates

The obituary was featured in The News Journal on November 18, 2017. Barbara K. LevyWilmington - Age 81, passed away November 9, 2017 after a protracted battle with Alzheimer's. Born March 1, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Michael and Freda Korotkin

Born of impulse in the shadow of family tragedy, Margaret Roca is the unacknowledged connection between her blue collar family and the prominent Cavanaughs of Brentwood. She grows up in the household of her Mexican-American grandmother in the balmy, make-believe setting of Los Angeles, living through the Great Depression and World War II with Nana, two great aunts and Uncle Charlie. As she tries to find her place in life, inexperience leads her to make impulsive choices and suffer the unfortunate consequences, including an ill-fated romance and her rejection of a deserving suitor. When her wealthy, secret grandmother reaches out, Margaret faces a moral choice for which she is ill-prepared. This and other unexpected developments bring to light the mystery of Margaret’s father and underscore her mestiza identity as she confronts the dilemma of resolving a conflict between love of family and her own sense of pride.
