this was a hard book to follow due the amount of characters in the story.the mystery was very involved.the end was no surprise.

What can I say about this book. I struggled to get half way through this book. And then I just flipped thru it to the end just to see who did it. The story line had such promise. But I just felt the book dragged on too much, there were too many characters & they were not well enough explained so made it a bit confusing. Luckily I got this book for free as I would have been very disappointed if I had purchased it. I certainly wouldn't have called it a romantic suspense as really there was no suspense at all.

I read up to five (5) chapters and could not go any further. This book was just not interesting and couldn't seem to get to the point about anything. During the five chapters that I read, I still had no idea about the so-called heroine of the book, her friends, the antagonists and really did not care 'whodunit'. The book description is very misleading. It makes you think that you are about to read a good book. Not the case. You have been warned.

I have to disagree with the other review. It was not that bad. Okay, in parts the the plot got a little confusing in the beginning. This was mainly due to one of the characters having 2 names, and the author seemingly not knowing which one to use at any given time. However, if you can overlook that then there are lots of unexpected twists, devious plots and romance to boot. I really empathised with the main character all the way through. It was a real rollercoaster of emotion.

The only thing which stopped me giving this book 4 stars was the lack of proof-reading which became quickly apparent. As I said it was hard to keep track of one of the characters as his name kept changing, but there were also spelling mistakes, missed words and grammatical errors. Some of these were easy to overlook but others had me trying to work out what the author was actually trying to get at. However, it would not stop me buying another one of Louise Marley's books.

Once I got into this book at chapter 2 I could not put it down.
