I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend the whole series because they are really fun and unique. The main character is a lesbian woman detective named Carol Ashton. She goes through many different cases and a few different women too.
If you want to have a fun time this summer, get this series from the beginning (they are all numbered) and read them all. I love it and have fond memories of reading each one.
