The Ocelot Secret, an MG adventure novel, features Nikki Wing, Taylor Strange, and Joel Parley, zoological interns from Hawaii, Aspen, and Trinidad and Tobago. They navigate the dense rain forest; discover, and eventually outwit, a band of poachers; zipwire through the jungle treetops to escape them; and enlist the aid of local youths in a daring midnight raid to free an ocean freighter full of captured animals, putting an end to the poaching. Her goal for the trip, if she could only articulate it, is to make one real friend.

The Chancellor of Germany seeks light for the dark shadows following his nation from the last century. "Our country," he announces, "will repatriate artistic works seized during the march across Europe by the Nazi war engine." The government and populace do not universally applaud this decision. One such detractor is Alfred Stumpel, a disenfranchised citizen and aristocratic German, whose family considers the world wars as minor hiccups intruding on their dynasty. His estate includes a bunker housing art treasures his father confiscated for the Third Reich. Stumpel, determined not to hand these over, inveigles the minister of art with promises of riches. Unknowingly, the minister becomes part of a violent plan. Finding a professional assassin is next. The search leads to the Ocelot, an extremely talented murderer with vitae to match. He is employed to remove some problematic obstacles. The FBI attempts to unravel pieces of this killer, his operation, and string of ruses are to no avail. Sometimes the dragon wins!

Fantastic Book! A new author creating scenes in the genre of Frederick Forsythe and other Political mystery writers. I could not put the Book down, but DO NOT read the epilogue until you really should. What an ending! This is movie all the way. I thought it sounded interesting as it dealt with Nazi thievery of Art work in Europe, but this is much much more, and a great read. Try the Book out for yourself; my copy is with a friend already!

A thriller in every sense. Just when all seems to be set for one conclusion another one emerges. The politics, the mystery, and the Ocelot are all well defined and exciting to read. Clearly the ending points to a potential sequel. I for one can't wait! This assassin is indeed interesting material!

Exciting book, and fun to read. Story seems to be possible, but who knows? Enjoyed the interconnected plots and the decoy set up by the bad guys. Well written, one a person could read again.I highly recommend this book!

A fast read and interesting. Twists at the end are indeed a surprise which is nice. Others have noted this points to a sequel; could be a series, who knows. He has an interesting WEB listed on the back cover.
Gom
Really intense political action thriller, and truly well written. Not the mess so many 'top sellers' seem to be with grammatical and language errors. Fun read; interesting take on things, and a great ending!

Art History and where it all is can be a full time study plus; when you add what Germany did during the War years it is even more daunting. He takes this and spins it very nicely!
You get caught up in the plot, and the added pieces of Art history that the Nazi leaders had confiscated. The ending is not what you expect will be the end for the Ocelot! Fun, interesting read!
