Read the print date on this book: 1995. Unless you're resurecting a system with a dumb tnc, PAD, modem, etc., or plan to hook up your fancy new HF/VHF rig to a Commodore64, buy a book from this century, and within the last few years to get up to speed on what Packet is currently doing. I didn't read the fine print and bought this book. I'm surprised it's still sold as it's only good for the recycling bin.
