The King of Sting: The Amazing True Story of a Modern American Outlaw. The King of Sting is not just another project for me. This story is special.

The King of Sting: The Amazing True Story of a Modern American Outlaw. a modern day western. It's one that I've wanted to bring to the screen ever since I read the book and had the pleasure of sitting down with the author, Craig Glazer, the man that lived this incredible life, almost ten years ago. While the story takes place in the 1970s, it could easily be present day. It's one of the rare breeds of stories whose themes and characters are timeless. There's something so universally relatable in both Craig and Don.

This book was, of course a bit one sided but, is a great rags to better rags to riches story. A very unique character takes us through his interesting and diverse employment resume. Mainly ripping off dope dealers then to Hollywood where everyone is apparently trying to rip everyone else off for what ever they have of value. No social or moral redemption lessons here but a well written adventure story of modern day pirates.

Good story of someone who has big dreams.
A little crime a little success.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about your life and the stings you pulled. What a shame that Woodbeck was killed
Like you, he was a great character.

It was just so, so, not to engaging

It is a quick, entertaining read. It also gives you a view of a constant in the criminal world of ripping each other off; which is more common than one would think.

What an amazing story. That's all I can say. I cannot believe the life this guy has lived. The book is well written, harsh at times, but what would you expect? You're rooting for him because although he's not living the most morally correct life, but he's the good bad guy, trying to get rid of the actual bad guys for most of the book. Just a great read-get it and enjoy it!

If true crime books are your thing then this is a page turner about a guy who had huge cahoona's. Without giving the away too much this guy was brazen enough to impersonate law enforcement in order to bust/steal drugs for dealers.
Raw and gutsy; I would not recommend living this lifestyle (LOL), but one could see how the events and associates in Glazer's life somehow got him to that point. A real adventure of a true "adrenaline junkie" - the pages fly by quickly. Makes one wonder after all the people who were "crossed" why one would want to make it all public (refer back to the words "adrenaline junkie").

Cheers All !!
