The next day, Crawford heard nothing further about Fernandez’s plan. The death of Grover had upset the balance of the teams. Planet Of Death book. Is this the same Robert Silverberg? It read like a high schooler wrote it-hokey dialog, weak characterization, and a short, trite plot. Earthman Roy Crawford is framed for murder on the planet Velliran . If you squint, you can see hints of ideas that would later become fleshed out in the Majipoor series, or a struggling writer needing inspiration (Silverberg wrote this, and look what else he has done-there's hope for all of us), you're better served by skipping this. The saving grace is that it's quite short.
