The Fertility Solution : A Revolutionary Approach to Reversing Infertility.

A loose tooth or teeth always pose a problem for. the anaesthesiologist during laryngoscopy an. In case of the loose teeth being the upper incisors, we. felt that a molar approach to intubation would avoid. the anaesthesiologist during laryngoscopy and. endotracheal intubation. This problem is aggravated. if the loose tooth happens to be one of the upper. incisors, especially in anticipated difficult intubation. We face this problem more frequently because of poor. contact with the loose teeth. The left molar approach. There is yet another aspect to the basic distinction between fertility and infertility-an aspect to which I referred in Chapter 1. A couple can be either primarily infertile or secondarily infertile. In cases of primary infertility, the couple has never been able to conceive (or, by my definition, produce) a child. In cases of secondary infertility, a couple has managed to conceive-or produce-one or more children in the past but no longer appears capable of doing so (again, after a year or more of unprotected intercourse).

First of all I want to recommend everyone read this book FIRST, BEFORE trying expensive fertility treatments.

The book was technical, but still easy to read. Everything in the book seemed to make absolutely perfect sense to me, after my battle with infertility for the past 8 years. I truly think the author actually explains "unexplained infertility."

My situation: I'm now 44 years old and had been trying for a child for 8 years. My husband who I married 2.5 years ago and I tried 6 failed rounds of insemination and 3 failed rounds of IVF (one cycle of IVF resulted in a chemical pregnancy not lasting past he 6th week). We also had one spontaneous pregnancy that ended in the 8th week due to a blighted ovum. (If you don't know what these terms are, I highly suggest using google instead of creating a Q & A forum here). All these treatments cost us nearly $25,000 with no success. We also tried natural approaches, used acupuncture, acupressure, diet, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and anything else we could think of. I was keeping track of my cycles with BBT charts and knew I was ovulating every month. Had no diagnosis of blocked tubes, fibroids, PCOS or anything "wrong" except for my age and my FSH level was at last IVF 46!

After reading this book, I realized that I fit the description of many of his patients:

1. My mother had a serious "infection" of the cervix while pregnant with me (actually it was cancer and she had a hysterectomy just after I was born via c-section).
2. I grew up with recurring ear infections and strep throat.
3. I never had a live birth.
4. My mother had no children after me.
5. My pregnancies all ended before the 9th week.

I sought out a doctor in my area who specialized in STDs and took the book to him and explained what the book was about. I had already been tested for all STDs as is normal for people who undergo fertility treatments. But I figured I needed a prescription to get the antibiotics that the author recommends. This doctor actually said that my summary of the book made sense and was very curious about the book. He even photocopied the cover so he could buy one of his own. I got my prescription of antibiotics, and was on my way. After finishing the round of antibiotics, I decided to use some old antibiotics I had left over to continue self-treatment, since the book describes an extended period of antibiotic treatment. I then had an injury to my foot that required a tetanus shot and more antibiotics.

My husband and I were in different countries during this period due to work, and immediately after finishing the antibiotics we were reunited. We had sex only twice that cycle and now I'm pregnant! I'm 9 weeks now, and it's still early, but I am still farther along than I've gotten before. And on one of our early scans, we could see the fetus had grown, the heart was beating and the arms were moving around. We have never gotten this far before.

I hope to update this review in May to let you all know that I had a healthy baby. So until then, please read this book, and leave a review of your success on here to share with others. I'm letting all my friends know about this and will be ordering copies for all the fertility specialists I have worked with over the years. One of whom said I had a 1 in 10,000 chance of getting pregnant at all. He even said if I was his own daughter, he wouldn't even treat me to avoid giving me false hope. I have been pregnant 3 times since seeing him.

UPDATE: I just wanted to update this. Our beautiful, healthy son was born on April 25, 2014! I'm now 45 years old. I know without a doubt that reading this book is what gave us the success of having a child I had longed for since I was 33. Do yourself a favor, read this book if you are having trouble trying to conceive.

Update on Sep 8, 2014: Our 2nd child is a happy and very active 4+ year old boy. He seems to be much healthier than our daughter (who was an IVF child - see below). Dr Toth himself recommends his newer book, the 2nd one, instead of this one, but I still like this old book. His new book is available on Amazon Fertile Vs. Infertile: How Infections Affect Your Fertility And Your Baby's Health and Dr Toth made it available to read online for free on his website: http://www.fertilitysolution.com/

Update on Nov 30, 2009: My wife is now 3+ month pregnant, 100% naturally, four month after completing antibiotic therapy with Dr. Toth. Our previous (fist) child (now 2 yrs 8 months old), was born after 5(!) painful, heavy-duty IVF cycles (3 fresh, 2 frozen) with one of the top NY IVF clinics (CHR) - they told us we had one blocked, one "facing wrong way" fallopian tubes. I give 100% credit for this natural pregnancy to Dr. Toth's therapy.

Original revew below:

A must read for all couples that are trying to conceive or any woman with PMS, pelvic pain or early menopause. Highly recommend. Approximately half of all "unexplained" infertility cases are caused by bacterial infection and can be reversed by a special antibiotics treatment. Dr. Toth explains his theory in detail and supports it with numerous examples from his practice.

Latent infection turned out to be a major factor in my infertility. I highly recommended people read this, especially if they have brown spotting, endometriosis, blocked tubes, ectopic, or any history of cyclical symptoms since starting ttc.
