Rather, the majority of this book is additional supplementary guidance for someone planning on building the SuperSID antenna, INSPIRE or Radio Jove kits. For example, as the Radio Jove kit itself has a 50 page PDF with schematics and step by step assembly; this book does not duplicate those instructions but assumes the reader will have been following that PDF. As a result, this book covers the construction of a receiver in just 3 pages, with suggestions such as which diodes in the kit's own instructions might be mislabeled. The final chapter, 15 pages long, describes the fourth project of radio detection of meteors, which is using a HT scanner with an antenna and audio software.
