When and Where I Enter. by Paula J. Giddings. When and Where I Enter is an eloquent testimonial to the profound influence of African-American women on race and women's movements throughout American history. A division of Hodder Headline. Suddenly, it all began to sound rather fun. Violet’s concentration drifted back to the past, to forgotten occasions now remembered. 3. The wind veered around to the south, bringing with it the balmy breezes and the soft weather that the rest of the country had been enjoying for weeks, along with the scent of damp earth and growing things. The countryside turned a sweet and verdant green, the wild white cherry trees recovered from their battering, took heart, and spread their branches in a mist of snowflake petals. A lovely book to read and reread. Hope and encouragement for living in the mystery of life in God. Beautifully written inviting one to open to the unknowing. Only one who has traveled to a great darkness can show others how to follow and go on to light.

This is a very honest and supportive book to read. She helps the reader in their search for God. Her honesty is deeply touching about her search for God, her loss of her husband and daughter, and her quest to help others. It is an easy read as she gives her message in stories wich are fasinating. I highly recommend all Paula D'Arcy's books as they are very uplifting at a time that she could be morose.

An absolutely amazing book. Paula DArcy lets the reader experience her grief and triumphs with her. I applaud her ability to be vulnerable to her readers. Her ability to bring these intense moments to life is a true gift. Brought me to tears and joy.

D'Arcy gives the reader a rare, unguarded, window to the soul of innocent grief. This autobiographical account of D'Arcy's struggles with the death of her adolescent brother and the struggles later in life as a widowed mother of a sick child is first, a great read. Beyond its compelling readability, is the fact that this book is an enormous emotional resource to people struggling with similar issues. All people who work with children's diseases and grieving families should know this book.
