I purchased these books for my husband who is quite elderly and house bound. He has read many authors over his life time. He really likes Mr. West style of writing, the way he weaves you into the story that he is creating, not allowing you to see the path to the end of the book, that he may conceal the ending until the last moment. He compares Mr West with Zane Grey. He finds Mr. West to be a better writer, with more detail and with a clearer description to the surroundings to which he is writing. Thanks for bringing us another author that we can enjoy, and re-read at times.

Our hero, doesn't know how to deal with people, especially women. The bad guys are really bad. He's hired to take a young couple to a new location. There are problems along the way. I don't want to ruin the read

Luke Sunday, our hero, hires on as a scout for General Crook, who is determined to rid the West of the Sioux. Another scout, evil Bill Bogart, believes he is the better scout and gets Luke fired. And here is where the story begins.

Any of Mr. West's books are excellent in bringing the old West alive.
