Spiritual warfare is the Christian concept of fighting against the work of preternatural evil forces. It is based on the biblical belief in evil spirits, or demons, that are said to intervene in human affairs in various ways. Various Christian groups have adopted practices to repel such forces, as based on their doctrine of Christian demonology. Prayer is a common form of spiritual warfare among Christians. Other practices may include exorcism, the laying on of hands, fasting, and anointing with oil.

You can read almost whole chapters without them turning to ONE biblical reference or annotation.

He has authored several books such as All the King’s Men, Four Pillars of a Man’s Heart, Tender Warrior and Spirit Warriors: A Soldier Looks at Spiritual Warfare. What a beautiful word picture that only a warrior who has been in physical war on earth could depict! The juxtaposition of our spiritual warfare and battles we face every day is brilliantly done.
I have walked with The Lord for 30 years. This book changed my view of giving evil a toe hold on anything in my life. I will no longer give an inch!
It is so sad that this book is 18 years old and only has 18 reviews!

The book helped a lot in my preparation for a man's retreat. Stu Weber's book was well organized and very understandable. You will learn from this book what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

I highly recommend this book. I passed it along to a friend, & she was also very blessed by its Biblically based content which tackles a reality that a good number of Christians would prefer to avoid, but at his or her own peril. The principalities & powers mentioned in God's Word are at work, doing what they can to adversely affect the life of believers. This book deals extensively with how Christians can & should deal with this aspect of our earthly journey. It starts out with a stark realism that is daunting, but what follows in the balance of the book is greatly edifying & encouraging for "spirit warriors"---which is what all Christians should be until reaching the mansion our Lord has prepared for us.

A lot of Truth and Knowledge... to be Watchful - the enemy is real and on the prowl.

I have now listened to this for a third time because the approach is that good. Imagine a green beret attacking the evil one and that is what this book is all about! I really enjoyed Stu's direct approach and his metaphors on doing war with an enemy as it applies to spiritual warfare.

Not what I expected.

My husband I have been reading it together. He knows now that others have similar struggles and he is not alone.
Stu Webber has a background in the military. Who better to tell us about being a warrior than someone who was a warrior and knows what it takes to be one. I went through this book as a Men's Bible Study. It goes through what being a warrior is, and the battles that one may face. Stepping up as a warrior will definitely put you on the front lines, and when you are on the front lines you will need to don the full armor of God. Stu Webber does a great job explaining the full armor and how a warrior needs each and every piece to do his/her duty daily. A must read.
