This book is just awesome, I love that it provides beautiful short stories, activities and wonderful facts. I usually don't buy book and just borrow from the library but I've borrowed this one so many times that I decided to finally buy it used.

Originally bought this for our 5 yr old grandson who loves astronomy. We read an excerpt from it every night and learn something new each time. It's fun to read something meant for a child and actually enjoy what you're reading -- instead of the same silly story every night. This book is easy to understand with fantastic stories. Highly recommend!

This woulld make a great addition to a teachers library or even for the home experimenter. I purchased this book for my nice and her and I have almost read it from cover to cover and along the way did a number of the activities. This is a geat teaching tool, but I was not prepared for some of her questions that the book did not answer, so I would recomend to keep google close by!

My niece said she loved this book. I gave it to her as a birthday gift, hoping to inspire wonder and delight in the knowledge of the sky. Shouldn't we all just look up with wonder?
