Great Expectations (Great. has been added to your Cart. Oliver Twist" is a relatively early novel by Charles Dickens. The title character is a child who ends up affiliated with a band of criminals. I like this novel very much, and in many ways it is a typical novel by Charles Dickens. The novel is clearly meant for mass appeal in the Victorian Society within which it was written. A modern reader may find Victorian fiction to be somewhat ornate and "wordy".

The Great Illustrated Classics series of books offers easy-to-read adaptations of well known classics, featuring large print and illustrations on every other page. The series is targeted at children, but the writing style is suitable for adult readers as well. Currently there are 66 titles. The series is owned, published and sold by Waldman Publishing Corporation under the Baronet Books imprint.

Great Expectations is the thirteenth novel by Charles Dickens and his penultimate completed novel, that depicts the education of an orphan nicknamed Pip (a bildungsroman). It is Dickens's second novel, after David Copperfield, to be fully narrated in the first person. The novel was first published as a serial in Dickens's weekly periodical All the Year Round, from 1 December 1860 to August 1861. In October 1861, Chapman and Hall published the novel in three volumes.

Great Expectations, a classic, is an asset for those students who need to read the story in a simple format first. It also appeals to students reading on grade level but need the extra support of more pictures and larger print.

Great Expectations Review

Great Expectations is a book written by Charles Dickens. Is a mystery book about one boy looking for a new life. A young boy named Pip is an orphan who when his dad and his mother died he began a new life. I recommend this book to people who love mysteries and drama.

This book is written especially for 14 years old boys, because is about mystery and has lots of action. This is a great book written thru the eyes of Charles Dickens . I recommend this book to everybody because it is about mystery and every minute of this book that you read is interesting and very creative.

I would recommend this book to children who like mystery and drama. This book teaches you how to survive in hard situations without you parents. I think is a good book because it has lots of drama! Read it, I recommend it!!!
