Writing Your Best Picture Book Ever (1994).

The Dressed Up Book (1990). Who is Sleeping in Aunty's Bed? (1991). Writing Your Best Picture Book Ever (1994). One Year Commencing (1997).

Apparently, I didn’t read carefully. Imagine my surprise when this tiny, tiny (smaller than a post -it note). I love the book itself, but this ridiculously small version isn’t useful at all.
Didn't realize I was ordering a tiny 3 inch book. It's fine, I should have paid attention to the dimensions, I just don't usually worry about the size of the book I'm ordering. It's cute, just not really what I needed for my classroom. :)
I was disappointed when I received my copy of "Red is Best." I didn't expect it to be the size of half of an index card. I expected a paperback book- a normal sized paperback book! I don't remember reading anywhere on the website about the book being extremely tiny. I was only able to show my students the book by zooming the picture on my overhead projector. I spent $1.99 for the book, when it was worth about 50 cents in my opinion.
I am a mom of four and a former preschool teacher. This book is one of my all time favorites. Quotes from this book have woven themselves into the fabric of our family life even though my children are now in their twenties! So I was thrilled to see that it now comes in a board book version. It is lovely. I bought several to give as baby gifts. --my one caveat is that you do have to read it so that the mom doesn't sound crabby. ????
First of all, the story is wonderful. I enjoy this story, and my 2yo enjoys it, too.

However, when it arrived - the book itself was TINY. It's 3 inches by 3 inches. Absolutely tiny. It's soo small for my 2yo to read himself. It's also too small for him to enjoy the illustrations.

Such a shame. If they made it 6x6 or 8x8, I would have given it five stars. Such a shame its so tiny.
I don't know if I missed something when I ordered, but the book is very minute. I needed it for a class read aloud and no one could have seen it ! I actually laughed when I opened the package!
I would have given this book 4 or 5 stars (and probably not even gone to the effort of writing a review), however, I can't because the book is 3 x3 inches. I feel misled because NO WHERE in the product description does it mention this book is MINIATURE. I would not have purchased it. Great story, lame product.
