The mystical book as told in the movie National Treasure, probably doesn’t exist. I well remember that Bill Clinton publicly announced that he wanted to know about some classified sort of stuff-Kennedy and aliens as I recall. But there is a President’s Secret Book. Some stuff relating to Dallas was released but the thing is, he just stopped talking about things like that. My personal opinion is that these guys and (and, hopefully soon, a gal!) all seem to age a heck of a lot in 4 or 8 years.

If the book of secrets does exist, some argue it may date all the way back to George Washington, the first president. Priess brought years of firsthand intelligence experience to his book after serving presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Washington wasn't a stranger to secrets. During the Revolutionary War, the general operated a spy network known as the Culper Spy Ring. In fact, Priess was responsible for writing both presidents' daily briefs, the rundown of top-secret intelligence for the president. In the book, Priess argues these daily briefings, which date back to 1961, comprise the "book of secrets" for presidents.
