Our six year old had never been to a wedding before being asked to be a flower girl. (What an overwhelming responsibility to a small child!) There are loads of books out there about flower girls, but few are true "hand books" that give an overview of what takes place at weddings and what exactly a flower girl's role is. This book covers all of the basics and more. We found this book to be particularly helpful in explaining the hows, whens, whys, and whos. We relied on a fictionalized flower girl story to address stage fright, sibling envy, and the magic of weddings. Definitely recommended. The book would make a very nice gift from the bride to her flower girl(s).

I bought this for my grand daughter who was in my sons wedding. It said it was in "good" condition. When it came it was written in it. I couldn't get a new one so I had to white out all the writing. I wouldn't call it in good condition.

This is a fantastic book! It's full of fun and information for the flower girl to understand the wedding process and her role. In addition, it is a journal for words and pictures to record her experience, along with a keepsake envelope. For both the flower girl and bride, it's a very special keepsake to be cherished and read over and over...forever!!!

Desperate for a "guide" to give to my young flower girl, I came across this book. I ordered it not knowing what to expect. This book is wonderful. It not only explained the who's and what's of a wedding ceremony and reception, it also doubled as a memory book. It includes pages for pictures of the wedding or the child's own drawings and pages for writing thoughts, feelings and accounts of the day. The book also has a sense of childhood fantasy and not just the "facts" of a "how to". I was so pleased with this book, I ordered another for my Jr. bridesmaid.
