Home Jack Canfield Chicken Soup for the College Soul. The binding of my book is now ripped and cracked from overuse, but I still feel amazing when I read each story. Chicken soup for the co. .Chicken Soup for the College Soul, . For the first few days after arriving at school, I thought that I was not going to make it through the year. I had yet to meet anyone besides a few random girls in my dorm, whom I was fairly sure did not even remember my name. It is unbelievable to me how many souls and hearts have been touched by the book, and how many spirits have been raised and inspired.

She spent time in a caf’e in England to write the books. She did a fabulous job, she has been the recipient several awards for the series, and the first book will be transformed into a movie, which should be released in November of 2001. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Harry Potter, and I plan on reading the rest of them. From what I have read in just the first book I am sure that I will enjoy all the rest.

FOR USE IN SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES ONLY. Teens will continue to find support and encouragement from their peers, as well as empathy from caring adults, in this third volume of the series focusing on love, friendship, family, ""tough stuff,"" growing up, kindness, learning lessons, and making a difference.

This book includes the short story of my son's life and death. He was my rock and my strength. He lived a brave life of 18 years and was deeply loved by many others. He was my rock. He made a choice that caused the end of his life. He got a ride home and due to others choices the car crashed and he was killed. I never was able to speak to him alive again. Read the book and you will understand. He and I hope you read it and it saves your life and many lives. Many other stories in the book are also very helpful for everyone.

I bought this particular stand because of the company's great reviews for their iPad specific stands, but I wish now I had gone with an iPhone specific stand instead of a "universal" one. I do not keep a case on my iPhone 5, and since this stand is made to accommodate various sizes of phones--including with cases on--compromises had to be made, and a bare iPhone is just too small and thin and is not very secure at all sitting on the stand.

I found that I can situate the phone to where there is minimal movement when I use the touchscreen at least, but it will still move around (and possibly fall out!) very easily when using the harder presses necessary for the Home and other physical buttons. And whatever you do, do not accidentally bump the stand! I tested a small bump just to see what would happen, and my phone would have completely flown out had I not been prepared and caught it. The reason is the prongs on the bottom are too wide for an iPhone 5 (and 5s/c) and if the bottom edges of the phone slip just slightly to the left or right, the edge of the phone will slip off the prong and your phone proceeds to do an "aerial" out of the stand.

I also tested it with a case on, and it did make it a little more secure, although it does still move around some even with the case (my case has a slim profile). But I'm not going to start putting a case on my phone just so it will work a little better with a stand. So I wouldn't recommend this for a newer iPhone, but if you have a larger phone or a bulky case it might work for you. Honestly, it's a little overpriced for what it is.

I bought this stand because I needed a stand for my new Samsung Note 3. My previous phone by HTC had the charger port located on the side of the phone, but the Note 3, similar to the iPhone, has the charge port on the bottom.

The PED3-U is a great solution because the X-shaped holder allows the USB cord to approach from any angle. It's also high enough that even the fattest micro-USB 3.0 cables can fit with plenty of clearance.

My only gripe with the stand is that the bottom "lip" of the stand isn't deep enough for the Note 3 to sit comfortably in a "cradled" fashion. I currently use the Seidio metal kickstand case, previous to that, I used the Bear Motion slim sand case. Both of these cases add mere millimeters to the overall phone depth. Even without the case, the Note 3 doesn't sit back enough for my taste. Since the Note 3 is significantly taller than the target audience for this stand (which I am assuming is the iPhone), the Note ends up feeling "top heavy" since the back braces only support up to the middle of the phone. In other words, it doesn't take much to knock the phone out of the stand.

Another small gripe is the way that the USB cable gets threaded through the actual stand. If you look at the picture of the stand, you can see that the cable gets threaded between a narrowing Y-notch. At the bottom of this notch, it is tight enough to grip on to the sides of a normal shielded USB cable (ie: a standard USB cable). So if you want to pull your phone towards you, you have to pull the cable out of the notch and pull it towards you - in other words, it's tight enough that the cable won't slide.

Ok, small gripes aside, this is a heavy-duty stand and I currently use it. It's completely metal with the exception of little rubber grippy-pads on the bottom and on the holder tips. If it were just a bit deeper, this would be awesome for the Note 3, but as it is, it's only "pretty good".

I bought this stand for my Samsung Galaxy Note II that I just purchased. It sits on my desk in my office and I just love it! It's a sturdy stand, looks nice and I like the rubber pads on the arms and the non-slip rubber feet.

The only issue is that the bottom prongs that hold up the phone are slanted inward. For the Galaxy Note II, the bottom doesn't fit in there precisely. I would recommend that the manufacturer change the bottom two prongs to be flat, then it would not be an issue for any phone. So when my Samsung GN2 is sitting in portrait mode, it's a little crooked, but I can make it stand straight thanks to the rubber on the prongs, but it will sometimes still slip and look crooked.

This may not be an issue for other phones, however. I did try my old HTC Evo 4G on the stand in a vertical position, and I face the same issue, even though the EVO is smaller than the GN2.

The stand is great in landscape mode - except you have to watch out for the volume buttons which take up a lot of space on the GN2, so I set it on the power button side.

There is a slot in the stand that allows you to thread a cord in it, so your phone can charge in the stand.

This is a nicely made, very sturdy stand, and I just love having it in my office.

I might even get one for home!

I highly recommend this stand.
