Hank Zipzer, get your hand back here right now. You don’t pick lint from your fourth-grade teacher’s skirt region. She stood up behind her desk and looked out at us over her gray glasses. What are you children doing still inside? she asked. Fortunately, I pulled my hand back just in time. Another trip to Principal Love’s office avoided! I wasn’t trying to get in trouble in class, but I’m going to tell you the truth because I feel I can trust you. It does feel really good to make thirty-one kids laugh, all at the same time. lt; br, Ashley poked me in the ribs. Go ask her, she whispered.

We’d love your help flag 1 like.

Like take the word rewrite, which is always what I have to do on my compositions. It means do it again, and this time, use the dictionary. As in not good enough. I got this book for my nephew who is dyslexic and he said he really liked it and reading is not his favorite activity! So I consider it a real win/win!

Well, yes. Right in the beginning our hero, Hank Zipzer, finds out that something is up with his chances of promotion in the fall. Is he going to be held back? He sure thinks so! And there's the usual collection of schemes, disasters and bright spots, including his sister, her iguana, his parents, and his best friends. I tell you, it's a can't miss, and it doesn't.

my 11 yr old 5th gr daughter is a devoted Hank Zipzer fan; she these are quick easy reads for her, but very enjoyable; I even like when she reads out loud to me; they help her better understand her Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) & learning disabilities (LD) in a fun way; Henry Winkler turned his negative childhood experiences into a positive thing for his children & ours
