The Naughtiest Girl is a series of novels written by Enid Blyton in the 1940s–1950s. Unusually, they are set at a progressive boarding school rather than a traditional one. The school, Whyteleafe, bears a striking resemblance to the independent Suffolk boarding school, Summerhill. Anne Digby, author of the Trebizon series, has written some additional books in the series.

The Naughtiest Girl series consists of three books and a "short novel" written by Enid Blyton and a further six books written by "Anne Digby, at the invitation of the Enid Blyton copyright proprietors" (Wikipedia). The "short novel" (Here's the Naughtiest Girl) was published in 1952 in Enid Blyton's Omnibus! (Edwards, 2003) and then republished as a separate volume in the late 1990s just before the continuation of the series by Anne Digby. As a consequence, the story itself is far shorter than the previous three "full-length" stories - but according to my seven-year old son, still an "awesome story".

Sure, the book is probably over-priced given that it is sold for the same price as the other "full-length" stories, but we know that a price drop will likely never happen!! So, if your child has enjoyed the first three stories, my advice is to pay the price and enjoy the read; it is a classic Whyteleafe School tale.

It's the 4th book and is as easy and interesting to read as others. I do wish it were longer.

This book is much shorter than the first three books, but it is the same price! Very disappointing, I wish I hadn't of purchased it

My daughter thought there was something wrong with the kindle but apparently there's something wrong with this book. she'd love to read more books about the naughtiest girl but we are afraid to try them out in case they are all flawed!! it's really unfair!

I got this book for my daughter because she loved the series. The book comes incomplete. More than half of the book is missing. I am not sure why are they selling this book.

Like the other reviewers, we only received 5 chapters of this book. Normally there are more than 20 chapters per book.
