I am currently building up my children's book collection, and I was so excited to come across this book. I love Andy Warhol's art and this book is a fun introduction to his art. There are many bright bold colors in the book, and I love that. I would have expected nothing less for a book with Andy Warhol's name stamped on it.
The book is made for toddler aged children, so it is not something your children will come back to as they age. The book is a sturdy and slightly small - but perfect for little hands to turn. It is also a board book, so it will be fine if it gets tossed around a bit (which happens a lot with little ones). I plan on purchasing more of this book as gifts for friends that are expecting. Thanks!

My students use this book to sing as part of Arioso Land in school. It's easy enough for first graders to read so they are able to sing it with no problems. It's catchy and colorful.

We read to our son from the time he was born and this was the first book he really enjoyed. He loved the colors, the animals, and the simple, repetitive sounds. He also learned to turn pages using this book -- it's small and sturdy enough for an infant to manage. We've since purchased it as a first book for several friends with newborns. Highly recommended!

Great book for little kids to be introduced to art. The rhymes are not as interesting though. My two year old likes it OK. I like "Counting with Wayne Thiebaud" better.

I love buying children's art books for my little one and this is one of my favorites! Really simple text and "story" with vivid pictures. Absolutely love it.
Scoreboard Bleeding
In addition to identifying colors in Warhol illustrations, there are captions identifying some animals and nature scenes. Beautiful, colorful images are chosen. The goal of a board book, to maintain baby's and reader's interest, is achieved. It's clear why this is a bestseller!

I love this item! My daughter wanted books with bright, bold contrasting colors for her little guy! He's still tiny but we read to him several times a day and as he grows, he will learn his colors and also images from this. Well made and sturdy, it will stand up to his little hands!
I love this book and so do my two girls. The pictures are just as bright and bold as Andy Warhol would want them to be and the text has a nice rhyme and rhythm to it that makes it fun to read aloud. The board book is small enough that I take it along in my bag when we go out and other kids always want to look at it, too. I would definitely recommend this book for little ones 0-3 years old.
