You guys should not waste your money on this book because it omitted lots of important history about Christopher Columbus, such as cutting hands off and burning and killing people. There were also stereotypes. For example only Columbus had clothes. Also, the natives did not show up in most of the book. In conclusion this book is not a good book for history. This book gives a nice, organized view of Columbus' achievements. I especially liked how the book made the point that Columbus did not land in what is now the United States, but rather on the island of San Salvador. There are lots of illustrations, and the vocabulary is simple enough that younger students would be able to comprehend the information.
